I could curse, shout, invoke the wrath of saturn etc. However, the fact i forgot to put some insulating stuff over my potatoes in the shed is entirely my own fault. GRRRRR

It really makes us feel worse when we know it is our own fault when something happens. Especially when you put all of that hard work into growing those potatoes.

Hopefully not all may be lost, the ones damaged will show signs of turning black, others might have escaped, sort them out and move the good ones. Or is it already too late?
