I have read  Katie Thears book which I found very interesting, my coop is made for 6 chicks but I am only having 4, my run is 6ft long. I want the girls to be comfy.  I am going to have Black Rocks as I think they will be good pets hardy and good layers.  Bye for now

Ive got Black Rocks and have had no trouble with them -producing great quality and sized eggs. A very hardy breed. Passive as well.
