I ordered earlier this year two Crab Apple Trees from Deacons, Isle of Wight.
The forecast for the weather this weekend is from 1 to -1.
Does anyone now if it would be alright to plant them and if not how should I store them.

November through to February is the right time to plant trees and hedging especially bare rooted ones - pot grown can be replanted anytime). They should be dormant so will be fine. Dig a good sized hole put some good topsoil in the bottom so the roots get some nutrients to start them off and in the spring don't forget to water

I got my cherry and apple trees at this time of year (bare rooted), and they are going great guns, I've had them for 3 years, and they've also been moved once, and will be moved again this month.  No harm comes to them.
