I have two coops,one larger than the other,the large coop is intended for the 5 warrens (soon to be 4 ) the smaller coop is for my 4 pure breeds.Anyhow the warrens have finally decided to move in with the other 4.They all move around in  their two separate groups.

They have their pecking order sorted out and there appears to be no blood letting

are they doing this because its getting cold and the smaller coop is warmer at night or is it a take over bid?

I have 7 coops in use at the moment (I do have another couple but they are round grannie annies) and last night I checked to see how they were spread out - 1 coop had 1, another had 3, 1 had 5 in and then the rest were crammed in together about 6 in each then there are the 14 in the trees.

Check carefully for red mite. It might be a raging infestation in one house and only mild in another. Hopefully not of course!
