I don't have an overly large garden, but would love to grow plums and apples.  I have been considering those patio fruit trees that grow on one stem and are very small, and wondered if anyone has them and if they are any good?

Its all the fault of a gentleman who handed me some plums from his garden and I thought they were delicious.

Any advice/information about them is always gratefully received.
