Got some cucmber coming along fairly well in little pots.
I need to transplant them really. The have a few little cucumbers on them now about the size of gherkins.

Do I repot them into bigger pots? Greenhouse or deck?
Or shall I put them in the ground???

I wa s going to ask what variety but since my oudoor ones have only just put out flowers this year I would say greenhouse!

I have mine in 3 large pots with the bottoms cut out and sunk into a growbag.  They need lots of watering.  We've eaten 3 cucs so far and I spy a glut coming on.  They're in the greenhouse on a shelf below the eves.  I have wires running up the roof that I train them up.

I'm growing "Miniature White" from Real Seeds. I've got three in the greenhouse and one outside in a pot. The ones in the greenhouse are growing like mad and swamping my aubergines and tomatoes. The one outside is growing pretty strongly as well. So if you're growing one of the non-hybrid varieties I would suggest growing outside.

By the way, should I be thinning the fruits on the cucumber? (Are they called  fruits?).  I've got loads of  fruit setting but they are all about 1/2 inch long.

Mine, in a cold greenhouse, is just starting to take off. What is the best food for them? I've given mine a few douses of tomato feed when doing the toms..............is this enough? No sign of fruit yet.

I'm growing marketmore and apple crystal (i think thats what it's called) outside the plants are healthy lots of flowers and the cucs are just starting to form.

I've got two cucumber plants in 9" pots and they are doing really well in a lean-to seed house. I had my first cucumber yesterday (I'm sooo proud), several more ready to pick and loads of cucumbers developing.  Could this be my first glut :?:
