Would they make a good breakfast bar, if I cut them into fingers and wrapped in greaseproof when cooled?

OH leaves so early he cant face food, but is starving by 10am and the chocolate machine looks so tempting...  so healthy alternatives are always good and he loves cheese and onion.

With all that cheese and the butter, I wonder if they are any healthier than chocolate really

Very pleased that you all like them, and have made them, downside is they are also very moreish as you have found out

They do contain a lot of calories but no more than your regular sweet flapjack and as argyllie has said around the same as a good cheese sandwich.
