Is it ok to use miracle grow compost for fruit and veg? I know its probably a really datf question but i just want to check thank you.

Personally I think it is overpriced but it will work fine. Good source of cheap compost own brand growbags.

We get Miracle Gro potting mix over here, not compost as such. I use whatever I can get hold of in the spring when I start my seeds. Must admit that it was all the stores had this year when I ran out and needed some for my large toms planting. Not one of the seeds died, so I repotted them all in the M.G. mix thinking some would die along the way, but all lived. I ended up giving away thriving heirloom tom plants to people who were thrilled to get them. Now they're growing like Triffids in the garden and are up to their 4 ft stakes so next year I must buy taller stakes - 8 footers!
Organic purists will say this is wrong, you mustn't use any sort of fertilizer at any point. But if that's all you can get, then go for it. It's your decision just how organic you want to be or can be. In my case, it was just the potting mix. After the toms were planted outside, they got only manure and blood/bonemeal and water.
