Planting strawberry plants
« on: September 20, 2010, 19:05 »
I have started off a dozen or so runners from a friends strawberry plants which did superbly this year.  They are in 4" pots in compost and look very healthy.  I would like to know how best to proceed from here, whether to plant them in their bed for the winter or to pot them on and leave them until the spring?  Any help would be most appreciated,

Thanks,

Paul.
anybody want any brambles...

You could plant them out, or just leave them in the pots. They should be quite happy in 4" ones until spring.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
