MIne are getting to a couple of inches long and rotting. I water them  every evening- temperatures here are high 30´s low 40´s by 4pm.  Any suggestions?  I´ve not picked a courgette now for about 3 weeks

Good news, I have a courgette ready to pick at last!! There were two growing, one fell off the other lasted

well done    Mine are also coming along nicely  i've got 3 that are on there way but it's all down too pollinating by hand as there in the greenhouse and the wet weather means there are not many helpful bugs around (plenty of bl**dy slug tho')

I'm going to keep a count of how many i get coz some said 30-40 courgettes per plant!!!! (Can't quite beleive it myself)

so far I have had about 3 off one plant and 4 off the other- and they have been flowering/fruiting for about 6 weeks mow.  The neighbour has loads- I had to ask for one from them last week.  I´m going to have a go at freezing the spare(?) fruits, they will do for vegatable soup etc in the winter.

ours are cropping well now,ive only got 2 plants thank god i probably get 4/5 a week
