We have about 20 sunflowers, some of them about 10 feet tall, with massive leaves about a foot square, plus gigantic heads with loads of seeds.

Are any parts of a sunflower edible for the chooks?

The leaves are quite thickish and prickly.

Any info welcome.

Grew some Sunflowers for my chooks this year and they wouldn't even look at them never mind eat them

Must be all the other stuff their getting, the greedy devils
