Hello All,

Two weeks into chicken keeping and all is well. The three girls, rabbit and cat are all getting on and enjoying what was the garden! (Three yummy eggs a day more than makes up for that)
My question today is what to do with all the poop?
I poo pick daily and it goes into the compost bin, along with the soiled aubiose, straw & kitchen waste but the poor bin will be full before long..... then what?
I don't have space for another so was wondering about those "dog loo's" that you bury into the ground?
Alternatively I could put a note up at the allotments nearby advertising fresh poop as I know it is a chook free allotment.
Any ideas would be most welcome.

On my allotments several plot holders have people that bring them green waste so I think that could well be a good idea.  They might want the bedding as well so they can stack it - that's what I do on my plot and it makes dynamite compost

Allotment holders are not squeemish about poo, so don't worry

I meant people bring grass cuttings and the like to our plot by green waste, but if someone offered chicken poo I'm sure there would be a few takers.  If you say fresh chicken manure and soiled bedding for composting they will know what you mean
