 I just want to say 'thanks' to everyone on here for all the helpful advice.Everything grew and did well apart from sprouts and red cabbage that got a bit eaten!I'm really pleased with my first year :D

Yes I do ! My son in that pic moans about going up,but you should have seen their faces when we dug up some potatoes,then they were fighting over picking the beans!I love being able to give veg away too.I have bad health and am making the most of it while I can.

Its a lovely feeling when you go shopping, and you walk past the frozen veg (or "fresh" veg).  When I walk past, I can't help saying to my OH (so the people in the vicinity can hear), about preferring my very fresh veg that's only an hour old or so, to that of supermarket veg :tongue2:  I just get a kick out of it :D
