Does anyone want to hazard an opinion as to which sex my appleyard ducks are?   They are about 10 weeks old and are both noisy blighters.  One is  bigger than other despite there being less than 12 hours difference in their hatch times.

If both are quacking both are girlies! The male nuptial colouring doesn't come through until adult moult so it is quack sexing or vent sexing only still. Provided they both go quack quack you are very lucky!!

Whats the difference in the noise they make?  In my innocence i thought all ducks quacked

Girls make a quack quack noise and boys make a whispering wherack wherack noise and peep peep a lot longer
