Well, well, well !

Im lucky to have in my garden a 30ft deep underground well. I use the water for my garden and I thought I would use it for my hens. The water is clean and fresh . The only thing is, am I storing up problems giving it to my birds as I noticed tiny centipede type creatures in it. I put 2 capfuls of cider vinegar in 1 litre of water. But Im concerned that I may be unwittingly giving the hens worms or something. Whats best. . . natural well water or tap with its chemicals. :?:

I'm not an expert but the chances of your subterranean water dwellers also being parasitical to chickens must be very very very slim.

Put some well water in a clear glass bottle.  See if the light kills them (even if the vinegar doesn't)
