We have blueberries, in pots, netted securely but something is eating them, could this be mice?  There is a little depression in the soil in the pot similar to that which a dusting sparrow might make.

Blackbirds normally confine themselves to making a mess turning over mulches looking for insects but are otherwise reasonably restrained except when it comes to my blueberries!

Having said that netting does keep them out as it should other birds, so if you are 100% sure about yours it must be something able to get through very small gaps. Mice are a good bet!
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
