Hi All,

Anyone know where to source sheep manure pellets? I've been watching a Joe Maiden DVD and he uses it for everything. I cant find it anywhere. chicken manure pellets are easily available but not sheep. Help!

Most grazing animal manures are very similar and produce broadly the same results.

Why does it have to be sheep muck?

Sheep tend to leave a lot of the eau natrel form of their pellets in field gateways if you are passing any.

If your struggling to find sheep manure to use.
Why not try comfrey, once you have the plant you only buy it once unlike the pelleted sheep manure. Good natural source NPK
Use the leaves before flowering to make a liquid feed,
Add to compost pile used as an activator,
First leaves of spring put into furrows ready for your potatoes
Can be added to leaf mould to give base potting compost,
stems and leaves can be used as a mulch on fruits
Give it a go its great stuff.

Going to get Comfrey next year. Reading various articles it seems the bocking 14 is the best bet. Do you all agree?
