Cut off strawberry flowers now?
« on: August 31, 2011, 13:17 »
Many of my 'Florence' strawberry plants are putting up more flowers, after giving me a really good crop throughout June. Are these likely to come to anything now? Would it be better to cut off the flowers?

Ta.

If the autumn is sunny, they will ripen.

We have had the occasional flowers and they are easily ripening still, despite the lack of obvious sunshine
