I think my plot may have the dreaded club root  I pulled some radishes and pac choi today that had rather bulbous growth on the root I am assuming it is club root and am wondering if it is o.k to eat the radishes!

Think you may have to post pictures. Eating isn't a problem, but if you do have clubroot, you won't want to compost any of your plants.

It may be OK to eat them, humans don't get club root, but I've got club root in the plot and had the same problem with the radishes. I just didn't even think about eating them and they went straight in the skip.

 I did a google image search and it looks very much like club root so far it has only affected a couple of plants and I did bin them (dustbin not compost bin ! ) My brassicas are in a different bed and look healthy despite the dry weather so I am hoping this may be limited to the top of the plot.
