does anyone remove all the lower leaves/branches below the 1st truss ?
feed the soil not the plants

I only do it if they get really big, or if they turn yellow.

I tend to remove leaves late in the year to allow more sun to ripen the fruit. At this stage it seems counter productive to me.

i think i went a little to far in doing one of the tomato plants. :oops: as of yet it has no ill affect but look s to naked.
