I've found a few places that breed and sell chickens etc, but I'm wondering if there is anything like some kind of 'Garden Centre' for Chickens, where you can go and have a wander round, see birds for sale, coops, runs, feed, and all general other care and maintenance items that are Chicken related?  I've seen a few basic bits at the Nottcutts Garden Centre in Staines, and some more at Squires at Badshot Lea near Farnham, but I don't know of any others.  I just wondered if anyone here knows of anywhere that specialises more, sells more than just a handful of birds and has more choice of equipment than a small section of the local garden centre?  Want to have a look round before feeling that we have troubled someone to show us the hens, then feel obliged to purchase simply because we are there.  We know we will purchase eventually, we just want to explore our options on everything before making a final decision.

Most chickens that are for sale come from small breeders who tend to specialise in just a few breeds. Some like Grannie Annie have several breeds both pure breed and hybrids along with meat chickens and in Autumn she gets her turkeys. Most places like hers will also sell feed, feeders and drinkers and also coups. But no there is no supermarkets that I am aware of

A little bit further out but - it's just up the road from the Dunstable turn off of the M!...Woodside Farm - www.woodsidefarm.co.uk  - they have a poultry section and are quite helpful with no pressure - plently of pol birds to buy and equipment..in fact it's where we bought our hens from.
