Flowers on 1st earlies

Hi all i have flowers on my 1st earlies (pentland javelin) for over a week now do i wait for them to die off before i harvest not sure!

Not really necessary. I have been lifting PJ for twp weeks and they have not all flowered. But then I need the space for brassicas. If you are not in a rush then just pull away the soil and take the largest potatoes that you need, and leave the plant to grow on.

If they are flowering then you should have some spuds there. Why not dig up one plant for tea. If the size and yield are a bit on the small size then wait another week before you dig the next one :)

Mine were ready 14weeks after planting rather than 12.
