Hi has any one used liquid seaweed as a plant food.

I use Maxicrop liquid fertilizer - general and tomato. It supplies trace elements. I also use calcified seaweed on beetroot and ferns as they are supposed to love it.

I use liquid seaweed as a foliar spray rather than ground spray. The leaves can quickly absorb it. Geoff Hamilton, in his Ornamental Kitchen Garden, always used it.

Oh how telly gardening has changed! and not for the better in my opinion 
I liked the way he showed us how to be organic without being dogmatic, same as Alan Titchmarsh really

and yes I use seaweed as a foliar spray on anything that looks a bit sorry for itself
