Hi, can anyone help me ?  My hens have their house and run at the back of our house, and we have a lawn/veg patch at the front.  Would I be able to put my girls in a run on the lawn/veg patch from time to time like we do with the pet rabbits? or would it upset them being away from their regular house and run?

The girls will love it - but they're not fussy about what they dig up or eat, especially young tender plants you may have put in. Mine ignored the bugs and ate my cabbages!

They will think they are in heaven but you wont have much left after.

Thanks for the advice, will try them for a few hours tomorrow and will definitely keep them away from cabbages!
