need a bit of help please , i just bought an electric food steamer and silly me thought there would be some guide lines to timings for it but of course no so if anyone can help would be greatful .
its 3 tiers and says its 850-950 w if thats any help just need a few basics please, i thought i might find some recipies but no , not my day .

I was given mine without instructions and got some basic times off the Tefal website.  Have a look on page 9.  Then I experimented ......

I time my steamer like i time my boiled veg.
Stick a folk in it and if its done then your away heh

I find it slightly faster then boiling - perhaps 10/20% quicker
