Raspberries going bananas !??

From 12-20 sticks planted last year, we have 30-50 shoots some 3 feet tall. Are these next year's sticks, coz no fruit yet, but very healthy looking. Can we dig/divide for elsewhere ?

I assume that as there is no fruit showing that they are summer fruiting ones and are next years fruiting canes. This year's summer ones are now starting to ripen and the autumn ones are coming into flower.

They can be split up late autumn onwards.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
