At school there is a duck that last year hatched out 7 beautiful chicks.  She is not in a field or even near the pond- in a large (about 10x10m area of flowerbeds surrounded by the building on all sides).  She is sitting on eggs, and I am the only one who knows about her (no-one else would have spotted).  Is there anything I can do?  Take her food?  There is no water- should I fill up a small pot so she can drink?  I just want to know she is ok.  What with 900 kids around....
