Onion Fly
« on: May 25, 2010, 22:09 »
Evening All

Following on from my post the other day regarding shallots going yellow and dropping after a feed and drink they have perked up but the ends are still rather yellow I'm now worried that I've been hit with Onion Fly I pulled one up and it did feel quiet moist (however I did give them a good soaking so could still be that) I have looked for a maggot but nothing obvious so my question is - if it was onion fly would there be a maggot I will pull up and sacrifice another tomorrow and check again

Thanks feeling a little deflated as I've lost some toms too :(
