I have a mystery chick!



and a closeup of the egg it came out of:



I also have what looks like a sussex come out of an auracana blue egg  :blink:

are you sure it's a sussex and not a white araucana?
as for the other mystery chick you may have to wait until it feathers up I guess  :)

i have recently hatched cream x red legbars and they looked a lot like your chick. sorry can't tell if the eggshell is white or blue....if blue...you might have something similar?

The eggshell is gray... which is why I'm confused - I didn't know chickens could lay grey eggs!

I agree with Joy, looks like you may have a white araucana there!  Joy has a white Araucana chick, and I have 4!  But I don't have a white adult araucana, and neither does Joy anymore!  

My araucanas are lavender hen, black hen, red/black cockerel and barred lavender cockerel.  At the moment they are one big happy family!!  But somewhere in there resulted in 4 white babies.  I thought they were LS at first too!!  :blink: :blink:
