coral plant

Berberidopsis Corallina is a hardy evergreen climber with lovely dangly dark coral flowers. Common name Coral Plant it originates in Chile, likes acid soil and will take shade.
Perfect I thought for the bottom fence!
I can't get it anywhere!! Am I too early/late? I assumed if it was hardy it would be on sale all year?
I've also hit a brick wall getting hardy geraniums cheaply. Got some from friends in the past but fancy some more, different types (they're just so easy and long flowering) Have now ordered seed which will produce plants to overwinter and plant out next year.
Same for Honesty (Lunaria) which grows wild but I haven't seen any yet....
Managed to get borage roots off a mate thinking mine had died and they haven't!!!!
Everything is very late isn't it even down South.......?
