Hello All
We r new to chicken keeping done web based research and just got 6 hybrids from a friend (pullets 18wk old) how long b4 lay eggs although this is secondary, dont want to keep disturbing them to check for eggs unless we have to. Thanks

most hybrids will start to lay somewhere around 24 weeks old, tell tale signs that they are coming into lay is squatting when you go near them and their comb getting bigger and redder.
