I think beans are happy at 6 inches.
Mine are in a cold frame trying to climb out, I am worried about weather though: it's forecast to get cold in the next few days.

Think I will wait till next week end before I take them to the plot

I was wondering about spaceing.. and when to plant out.. I've never growed French beans (minis) before :wub: mine are under the closhe ATM... might wait untill next weekend to plant out... BTW... they are getting an outing during the day.. to get them used to open spaces!! LOL..
