Hows this for a run????
« on: April 27, 2010, 18:51 »
Hubby has been very busy over the last couple of weeks, we have just moved Bert Our Speckled Sussex (Which we got off here) into his own run with a couple of girls. What do you think to the run and the coop? We reckon we could start selling them for a couple of hundred quid, what does everyone else think?

It now has a top on, so is totally fox proof (i hope) he is making all the sides etc the same size  now so all we have to do is add one side and a top and bottom each time we need another run.
Dont count ya chickens till they hatch!!!!!

Unfortunatly we are not fox free, we have got away withhim not visiting for over a year, until last week and he took my Aylesbury Duck, so now we are just making it a bit harder for her, electric fencing is going up this week as well!!!!!

It took hubby half a day to put together a large coop for my growers ,its so expensive buying coops and half of them are not fit for purpose being too flimsy or not water tight  :(Iwas very impressed with him and remarked that he would get £100 easy if we sould it on :)yours looks really good :)
