I goth three hybrids on Tuesday which have been in isolation from my other hens since then.  I noticed this morning that one of them has some red blotches on her legs, they don't appear to be sore and the skin is not broken or scales raised.  Any ideas what this can be?  I have been feeding pellets and mixed corn with ACV in their water, I have also been worming them with flubenvet since Wednesday.  They are penned in an area of my garden with grass and various shrubs. I use sawdust and straw in the house. The hen in question is around 25 weeks and has laid every day.

SAWDUST is a BIG NO-NO, its too dusty and can cause respiratory problems.
Can u post a piccie, so I can see these patches u talk about?

Sorry I don't use sawdust, I mean soft wood shavings - its been an long day!
I don't have a digital camera so can't post piccies.  Her legs are a pale grey and the blotches are a soft pink/red colour about the size of a pea, she has 2/3 on each leg.  I wondered if it was a plant reaction but my other hens have not had a problem in 3 years.  I will check them tomorrow to see if they have gone or got worse.  Thanks for reading.

Today I checked Rosie-Leighs legs and they are back to normal - no red blotches!  Not sure what caused them but hopefully she won't suffer with them again!
