Chiltern Seeds
« on: June 02, 2007, 20:45 »
I went to my local graden festival at Holker Hall today and I had a wonderful day.  The weather was great and it was just a relaxed day.

On my wanders I came across the Chiltern Seed stall (who are based close to Holker) and they were so nice, happy and helpful I thought I'd mention them on here.

In front of their stall was a large box of seed packets labelled 'Free, take a packet or two on us' (I got some organic cabbage) which was great!

Now I know you will all have your prefered places to buy your seeds, but even if one person has a look at their site and likes I I feel I have thanked them for my cabbage! LOL

Now I'm still very new to this, so I'm not to sure of how large their supply of different kinds of varieties are, but they looked good.

Their site is:
www.chilternseeds.co.uk

Hope you like it! :D

I've been a customer of there's for years 666, they have some very unusual plants, I think nearly half my garden has come from them over the years    I love their seed catalogue covers  too.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

They're also good for heritage seeds.

Its odd that they are called chiltern seeds but they are not based in the chilterns!!!

Yes, they are a good company.

Phew...

I was a bit nervous there incase I had lost my marbles and they were in fact rubbish-but they were really nice people!

They even told me to just come and knock on their door to get the seeds instead of over the internet if I wanted!  Which is nice as they don't even have a shop.

richyrich7-yeah it's a great cover!  ubber cute
