along with rice, onions can be dodgy if they have been cut and then hanging around for a couple days..............perhaps that explains the cleansing properties of some spicy dishes...on the other hand, love the ideas here, might give them a go sometime

Food hang around for "a couple of days... " do what now?  :D

I ran out of meat to use a while back but I've been playing with potatoes in a madras sauce. I think I've just about got it right, the naan bread still needs a little work - its not as fluffy as bought ones but it tastes right.

That looks yummy! Have you made dosas? I quite often make masala dosa - curried potato in a dosa. Ooooh nom nom nom...  :happy:

If you go to the Works, you can get The Curry Secret for £1.99 & the new version for around £3.99.

It is based on Takeaway curries & uses a base sauce.
