On Gwiz's recommendation, I've just looked at the video of the Honda FG110. I've also done a bit of research on the Mantis. Both look great, neither of them is available in Spain, where I live. So whichever I choose, I'd have to have it shipped over somehow or get a willing friend to bring it in their car. Mantis will deliver theirs at a price but I can't find a dealer who would ship the FG110 to Spain. Hence my bizarre question:

If anyone here has bought an FG110, can you give me an idea of how big the box it came in was? Inches, cm, equivalent number of shoeboxes, anything so I can warn a potential victim who might, if I'm lucky (and barbecue the finest sausages and lamb chops for him), bring it over.

Anyway, in case anyone else wants the same information in the future, I've managed to find a distributor who will ship it to Spain. Plus, they've given me the boxed dimensions and weight:

35 x 74 x 50cm,  15kg but may volumise up to 22kg due to package size.

I went into my local Honda dealer on the way home last night to find out if they had one in a box to measure. The only one they had was the one on show.
I hope you get on ok with it, I think you will, it's a very nice looking bit of kit, well built and, I think, a stronger machine than the Mantis.
