Help with spuds
« on: May 28, 2007, 07:30 »
with all the wind last night my spuds come a cropper  .

I have them in a big drum and my cold frame fell over on top of them, damaging most of the shoots.

Should I break the bent/snapped shoots off or leave them and it will sort it self out?

Absolutely, let them do their own thing. Probably won't suffer much below soil level.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
