Mine are growing mold is this normal, will it effect my seeds?

Mine have tended to get a bit of fluffy mould, but not to the same extent as toilet-roll tubes (think the mould gets extra encouragement from the glue in the tubes.)

Not found it to be a problem as far as the seedlings are concerned, but suggest you don't let the compost get more than just moist.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
