hi all ( newbie)

 had my allotment about 12 month now but this is the first year i will growing.
 need some help about growing strawberries and what time of year i should start them

You can start them now Woody depending on how solid/wet your soil is.  I saw some in one of the shops the other day, think it might have been Wilkinsons.  They are very hardy plants which is surprising considering how fragile their fruit is.  Welcome to the site too by the way!

i bought 50 bar root plants off good old fashion ebay for £12, good size too. went in between the snows and are now starting to move
