[Gardening Mark]

Over the moon tonight to find out that my 1st clocker has hatched out 6 lovely chicks.  I didnt think there would be so many after trying an incubator twice in the last 7 weeks or so, out of 21 eggs alltogether from both times only hatched 2 healthy chicks, lots of dudd eggs, and to top it off, one of my clockers sat for 3 weeks only to have no chicks at all, so I thought my cockerels couldnt do their jobs properely, but I've been proved wrong. The chicken that sat for 3 weeks and had no chicks sat again the day after on another nest of eggs and is due in  1 and a half weeks, sitting on 14 eggs, that is my 2nd clocker.  The third is due in 2  and a half weeks, sitting on 11 eggs, all of my clockers are light sussex bantams. I love them  I also like their eggs best, but have 9 other hens dont know exactly what kind they are, big red things, good layers, their cockerel is a big white/grey silky(Freddy), he's gorgeous! But our best looking cockerel is our Elvis (dont know what kind he is either), but hes the father of all the bantam chicks as hes in a pen with them. He is a Beauty!  I will get some photos of all my lovely hens, chicks and cockerels as soon as I can.
