I am currently building some raised beds in my garden to grow veg but I need top soil.  There is a skip hire place called Majors in Wallasey who offer free top soil.  I was wondering whether anyone had tried it and was it any good. Thanks

Why don't you go and have a look at it and see what it is like, I should imagine each batch would be different, depending where they have got it from. It may be great stuff
