Hi...

Can anyone shed any light on Serama chooks and why i have heard that they are hard to incubate

I would love to have some and am trying to decide whether to buy eggs or chooks

I hatch other types of poultry, but am not sure how these are different.

Also are there any  forum members that have seramas??

According to the book "An Introduction to the Serama Bantam" by Carrie Wright, serama embryo's are extremley fragile and susceptible to changes in temp etc.

Ps I have some in the incubator at the moment!

Oooh Lucky You   I am about to hatch a batch of silkies , which are my favourite.... but after that.... Serama here I come   I have been given four little chicks by a very kind and generous fellow chook keeper.... and am hooked already

Just ordered a new bator too... my old polyhatch is letting me down temperature wise
