I think the point is 22fox that whilst all of us would advocate taking a chicken to the vets if ill (as we would with all of our pets) it was a bit late for your posting considering the outcome so you came across as quite thoughtless. Nobody wants to ruffle anybodies feathers here but there is a time and place and perhaps your timing was a bit out.
