hi.
weather was a bit damp but not much rain..so i started putting up the new fruit cage.. not very big  8ft x 5  ish..

i got some of the green balls with holes in.. canes.. and cable ties..
i have dug over the area i want to uses..so it was ok.. it took about 2 hours to fixes it all up.. as i had no help....i still have to put the net over but will wait until spring..

planted the Blackcurrant bush.. last years cutting..a sort of Blackcurrant x gooseberry bush..last years as well.. move the two red currants brushes..rakes over grown once planted all look good..

at the two ends i re plants 6 gooseberry plants they are two years old.. strong brushes..

i,ve now only got to plant the runner from Strawberrys.. I only have about 8 so they can go down centre of cage..

need to finshed the side of cage.. one is a grass path they other going onto plot..

maybe plant Chives along there.. looks good.. and nice to eat..

will put up photos..forgot cam today....

Would you put dung around the fruit trees?

it was well dunged last year.. or a good feed..?
