when i went to lock the girls up tinite, i found my favorite little lavender araucana Patti lying on her side under the coop ladder. i think she may have hurt her leg as she kept going onto her side when i tried to get her to balance. i dont know how on earth she has done this - i  suppose she may have got ontop of the hen house and jumped off and done it then. i have put her in one of the nest boxes with the others, i hope and pray that it isnt broken and she is better in the morning - if she has sprained her leg - does anyone know how quickly they recover?

when i got them out in the morning she was absolutely fine! i haent a clue what the matter was? she laid an egg (which she does every other day) and it was a very very pale blue whearas normaly they are quite a good blue colour thanks for asking after her rubellite
