[Peninsula Poultry]

I would like comments on the following breeds:
1. Andalusian
2. Dominique
3. Marsh Daisy
4. Norfolk Grey
5. Lincolnshire Buff

Comments regarding hardiness, friendliness, egg size/laying. I am looking to breed rare breeds. Any comments appreciated particularly as to which would mix better with other breeds.

i've only heard of 2 of those breeds and have neither, sorry, welcome to the forum by the way.

the only one that I hadn't heard of was the domininique (also known as the dominicker) but have just googled them and they are a dual purpose bird and very calm. They also are supposed to make good mums

Peninsula Poultry as these are "rare" breeds it is unlikely that people will have experience of them.  I would  suggest that you try the breeders associations. I am sure a short google search will find the relevant organisation.  It will also help you with stage 2 of your project = "Purchasing" the rare breed of your choice.
