Greenfly / aphids!
« on: November 02, 2009, 19:07 »
Ok, we had an infestation of greenfly / aphids this year but just about saved most things.  Lots of work though - a real pain.  Anyway, was wanting to try and over winter a couple of chili plants that were particularly badly affected.  Left them outside after fruiting to give them a shock (and kill any bugs - we've had a few cold nights here), then brought them in 2 weeks ago and they've started growing again.  However, checked today and theres millions of the little blighters all over them again  >:(  I take it they hide in the soil if conditions are bad?!  Any ideas how to rid the plan of them once and for all.  ive tried the usual (soapy spray, insecticide (organic) etc etc.

Thx
