following on from my earlier thread, do you all think I could take my toms straight out of the greenhouse and leave them in growbags in the garden? they are about 3' tall now with thick stems.. I seem to recall my Dad doing this years ago without any problems. We have a nice sheltered garden in rural worcs. regards, DB

Seems you've answered your own question there DB.  So long as they are fed and watered, I'm sure they'll be happy.   You might want to check into Shaun's idea for increasing the soil depth available to them

I think they'll benefit from a bit of fresh air, is it worth covering them up at night, i've got an old shower screen which if placed diagonally against my fence would make a nice windbreak....or am I being to soft?

I'd reckon anything to keep them a little warmer until the weather improves.
