they are about 3-4 inches tall, and look healthy - should I plant them out (as mother recommends) in ground, or overwinter them in cold frame? (we are in east sussex, with quite a sheltered garden, but it doesn't get much sun over winter).

if i do plant them out, will they be ok in a pot, or better in the ground?
